This photo collection features world renowned sailor Bernard Moitessier, and a group of French yachties, on the Palmyra Atoll sometime in 1984. Moitessier was known to have occasionally visited Palmyra. Based on other biographical material, this visit was likely a stopover on his way to Tahiti from Hawaii.
